How to install, migrate or relocate WordPress using WordPress Manager.

This tutorial is designed to show you how to install a WordPress application from your spanel. It will take only few minutes and literally no advanced skills to have a fully functional WordPress instance in your hosting account.

STEP 1

First, login to your sPanel account (yourdomainname.com/spanel) and then find the WordPress Manager button. It should be located in the lower part of your sPanel page, right under the "Software" section.

STEP 2.

Once you click on the WordPress Manager button, you will be redirected to the page where you have to choose the domain (or subdomain) you want to install WordPress on.

STEP 3

Fill in your desired username and password and check all appropriate fields. Then click on install.

STEP 4

When you run the new install, it creates a database, installs files and runs the WordPress install to configure the site with the database.

STEP 5.

Your website is now ready for customization!

MIGRATE / RELOCATE A WORDPRESS INSTALL

To relocate a WP install you’re essentially just moving the site from one directory to another on the same hosting account.

This is a setting within TFHOST, you simply select the domain for the site you want to move, and then specify the new directory, or where you want it moved too.

When you’re migrating, you’re usually moving your site from a different hosting account or company to a new hosting account.

This process has a couple more steps and requires that you have the FTP login information for the hosting account where you are moving your site from.
